Gunboat "Bouncer"
Hong Kong, June 29, 1867
I have the honor to inform you that I left Hong Kong in the Gunboat "Havoc" under my command, in company with H. M. Gunboat "Bouncer" instant. When off Howloon on the evening of 25th, piracy was reported to me (by the Police of Soutewan) which had taken place that day in the Lye Moon Pass. Having received information from an informer, I proceeded in the "Havoc" to Starling Inlet, Mirs Bay.
